Welcome to Summer, operated by Arc Edge ApS (“we,” “us,” “our”).

At Summer, your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under GDPR and Danish law.

What We Collect

When you use Summer, we collect:

• Your name and email (when you create an account)
• Payment details (handled securely by Stripe)
• Phone numbers you call, call timestamps, and duration
• General usage data (analytics, if enabled)

We do not listen to, record, or store the audio of any calls.

How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

• Provide and improve our service
• Handle payments and manage your credits
• Prevent fraud and abuse
• Offer customer support
• Comply with legal obligations

We may also use anonymized, aggregated data for analytics purposes.

Third-Party Services

We use trusted third parties:

• Brevo (for newsletters)
• Crisp (for customer support)
• Google Cloud (for hosting)
• Postmark (for sending transactional emails)
• Posthog (for product analytics)
• Stripe (for secure payments)
• Telnyx (for call routing and delivery)
• Twilio (for call routing and delivery)

These services may process your data in accordance with their privacy policies.

Data Storage and Security

We take your data seriously and use encryption and industry-standard safeguards. Your data is stored securely within the EU or in GDPR-compliant regions.

Account Deletion

You can delete your Summer account at any time:

1. Open the Summer app
2. Go to Settings → Account
3. Click Delete account
4. Confirm with the verification code sent to your email

Deleting removes your personal data, subject to the retention rules described under Data Retention.

If you’re unable to access the app, contact support@summercall.com and we’ll process the request for you.

Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access your data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion (“right to be forgotten”) — see Account Deletion
• Object to certain processing
• Port your data to another service

To exercise any of these rights, contact support@summercall.com. You can also delete your account directly from the app — see Account Deletion.

Data Retention

We keep your personal data only as long as needed to provide our service. When you delete your account:

• Invoices and billing records are retained as required by applicable tax and accounting laws.
• Basic call records (phone numbers, timestamps, and duration) are retained for fraud prevention and abuse protection. No call recordings are ever stored or retained.
• Customer support conversations are retained for dispute resolution and legal purposes.
• All other personal data (profile information, payment methods, phone numbers) is permanently deleted.

We periodically review retained data and delete it when it is no longer needed for the stated purposes.

Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies to recognize you so that you are signed in every time you visit the site. We may also use cookies on our public website for analytics and tracking inbound advertising.

Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. If it’s a major change, we’ll notify you via email.
